Erbium Laser:

A 2940 nm infrared light laser which targets water in the skin. The newest and most precise, superficial skin resurfacing laser to remove wrinkles, sunspots, sun damage and acne scars. Recovery time is rapid and redness clears faster than with previous lasers used for these purposes.

VariLite:

VariLite dual wavelength (532 nm and 940 nm) laser system is the ultimate skin lesion laser solution. This solid-state laser quickly and effectively treats vascular lesions, cutaneous lesions and acne vulgaris. VariLite offers the clinical versatility to precisely target superficial vessels as well as deeper, larger vessels offering modederate down time with visible improved results.

Gentle Yag

A pulsed dye laser designed to get rid of patients with benign vascular lesions. This is an excellent laser unit for treating rosacea, facial and leg veins, scars, psoriasis, hemangiomas and angiomas, poikiloderma, stretch marks and warts.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Currently, we have three different IPL units. They include the Quantuim, HR and SR, Lumenis EpiLight and the Quadra Q4. These laser systems use different wavelengths of intense pulse light to treat various skin and hair disorders including: hair removal, spider veins, rosacea, sunspots, mottled pigmentation, and melasma. It is also used for non-ablative facial rejuvenation and has the ability to create collagen synthesis. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) units are a great way to have a wonderful improved complexion with little or no down time.

Q-Switched Frequency Doubled Nd: YAG 532 Laser:

A 532 nm Q-switched green light laser which targets melanin and red ink tattoos. This laser is primarily used to treat age spots, sunspots, liver spots and red tattoos.

Q-Switched Frequency Doubled Nd: YAG 1064 Laser:

A 1064 nm Q-switched infrared light laser which targets melanin, and black and blue tattoos. Physicians treat various types of moles, such as Nevus of Ota and Ito, and black and blue tattoos with this laser.

Smoothbeam Laser:

The Smoothbeam laser is FDA approved for the treatment of wrinkles, back acne and acne scars. It allows for “lunchtime procedures” with NO DOWNTIME since it employs quick non-ablative treatment. It is one of the newest devices used for laser photo rejuvenation. The Smoothbeam laser is a 1450nm diode laser equipped with a Dynamic Cooling Device, which effectively cools and protects the epidermis with each laser pulse.

Relume

Relume’s patented light based system masks the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks by re-pigmenting the skin affected by these conditions. This is accomplished in our office using the advanced, computer controlled fiber-optic technology to deliver intense, therapeutic light to the affected skin. The systems unique light rays stimulate the production of melanin to restore the lost pigment in the affected areas. In addition, this treatment is highly beneficial for treating hypo-pigmented spots from vitiligo and leukoderma.

V-Beam Laser:

The Vbeam laser is used to treat vascular lesions including facial vessels, leg veins, port-wine stains, hemangiomas, angiomas, and scars, stretch marks, periorbital wrinkles and warts. It is a 595nm pulsed dye laser equipped with a Dynamic Cooling Device, which effectively cools and protects the epidermis with each laser pulse. This newer version of pulsed dye laser technology does not cause bruising, and therefore NO DOWNTIME, as seen with earlier versions of this type of laser.

VersaPulse (HELP-G) Vascular Laser:

A 532 nm frequency doubled green light laser with variable pulse width which targets hemoglobin in the blood vessel. This laser is used to treat spider veins of the face and legs, port wine stains and other vascular birthmarks and growths, hypertrophic and keloid scars, and stretch marks.

Photodynamic Therapy:

It is used to treat to treat sun damage skin, actinic keratosis (precancerous areas skin), acne and rosacea. Aminolevulinic acid (ALA) is placed on the skin and gets incorporated into damaged cells in the skin, bacteria that causes acne in the skin, and the oil glands in the skin. The light based unit is then used to activate the ALA and destroy the damaged skin, bacteria, and shrink the oil glands.
